Meet Anna
Anna is a 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix (Female, 55 lbs) with classic black and tan markings and a sweet, gentle personality. She is dog friendly and enjoys getting out of her kennel for walks and attention. Anna is still young and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for basic training and an active home. She is Heartworm negative.

Adopters must visit the facility in person to fill out a adoption application. Adoptions are a first come, first serve basis.

Come meet the pets any time that we are open!

Take the Pet Home

All Adoptions are in person only and first come first serve. We also offer a 7 day foster to adopt that allows you to take the dog home and see how they will fit into your household.
Can't adopt? We also Adventure Buddies. Which is a program that allows anyone over 18 to take an adoptable dog out on a daytime adventure, overnight journey or a week long exploration!!

Pickens County Animal Shelter is a government agency that provides animal shelter services including adoption and reuniting missing dogs with their owners. We do not offer veterinary services.
We do not take in cats. However, all Pickens County residents can get up to 3 vouchers per month to have any community/feral cats fixed!!

If you need to surrender a pet please email pcas@pickenscountysc.gov we do not take in owner surrenders without an appointment which is only made via email.
