Gatsby is a handsome, sleek black cat with striking yellow eyes and a heart full of affection. He’s friendly and gentle, and once he feels comfortable, he truly shines as a cuddle companion. Gatsby enjoys being picked up, loves head kisses, and is famous for curling up next to people to make biscuits on their side.

He’s playful and enjoys interacting with humans, but he’s also independent enough to keep himself entertained—making him a wonderful balance of affectionate and easygoing. Gatsby does well with other cats and people once he’s had a little time to settle in, and he prefers a calm, peaceful environment.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
