My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh yes, this IS the one you`ve been searching for. Little Louie is a delicate flower type of soul that needs your gentle encouragement and guidance as he learns to navigate life in the big city. He appreciates humans that respect his pace and comfort levels, and returns that respect with trust and love after he gets to know you. At only 1 year old, we can tell that Louie is going to blossom into just a wonderful little companion of a dog. Don`t take a chance—adopt Louie today! More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
