Meet Kobe (formerly known as Yoder)
Say hello to Kobe. This 14-week-old Heeler mix is a small bundle of pure sweetness. While we dont know his full mix, his petite size hints that he may have a small-breed companion in his lineagemaybe a Chihuahua!
Kobe's story began outside an Amish store, where he was the last little pup left in a crate. Thanks to one of our wonderful fosters, his life took a beautiful turnand now hes learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.
Kobe wants to soak up all the love and cuddles he can get. Hes a confident little guy who enjoys being around other dogs and is respectful of both kittens and adult cats. He loves being close to humans but also settles nicely into his dog bed for naps.
This smart boy is already showing great potty mannersusing his pee pads faithfully and following the other dogs outside to learn about outdoor potty time.
Kobe is discovering the joy of toyshis favorite being a fleece rope tugand hes learning his manners, including leave it. Hes a quick learner and so eager to please. He's still a puppy and will need an adopter willing to work with him on puppy behaviors like nipping and acting like a bigger dog than he is. Kobe will do best in a home where young children are accustomed to being around dogs/puppies.
If youre looking for a tiny, confident, and loving puppy to grow up by your side, Kobe (Yoder) will fill your heart and home with joy.
Kobe is up-to-date on his vaccines and ready to find his forever home! He'll need one final distemper/parvo vaccine in early to mid-January at adopter's expense.
Apply to meet Kobe at ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee is $350. The adoption fee includes his neuter and microchip at about six months of age provided the surgery is done at our partner veterinarian.
