Everyone Meet Red the Sweetest Boy!
Red is estimated to be around 2 years old, and a Bloodhound Mix. Coming to the rescue from Kentucky where he was found left outside chained to concrete block, starved without food and water. After gaining some much needed nourishment, even though he still has some weight to gain his energy and spirit has also grown with him!He loves to play and play for a long time so therefore he would do best with a high energy dog that doesn’t mind a big guy in their personal space. We’re working on boundaries and manners and he definitely is capable of so much being a quick learner.He does like to talk back some though, so you need to be okay with him using his voice often.. he likes to communicate . He learned sit in just a few short days. We’re working on potty training and he’s come very far, being that he came somewhere with not having any water, he loves it and will drink 10 bowls if you let him so you just have to watch and take outside accordinglyHe is very gentle just unaware of how big he truly is. All he needs is some love and patience and you will have found your best friend for life. The biggest wrinkliest boy
What we are looking for in an adopter for Red:
- fenced in yard
- another high energy dog in the home with no boundary issues.
- drool friendly home
- howl friendly home
- indestructible crate or added latches on crate
- Red does better not sleeping in the crate at night, he sleeps in his own bed at the foot of the bed.
