Say hello to Silvie — the low-riding happy-go-lucky little lady!
Silvie is a ~1-year-old, 50 lb sweetheart who brings joy everywhere she goes. Found in a shopping cart with her mom and sisters (Goldie and Fiona, also in ELO’s care!) she left her tough beginnings behind and has become the neighborhood favorite — known for her wiggly body, happy heart, and “piggy” excitement grunts (yes, she grunts… and yes, it’s adorable).
She’s friendly with everyone — dogs, kids, strangers on the street — and greets the world with a wagging tail. She loves cuddles, taking inventory of her toy basket, and is always up for a walk. When her jacket comes out, she knows it’s time to explore NYC like the curious little adventurer she is.
Silvie can be a bit timid when caught off guard or when big noises pop up, but she bounces back quickly — especially when she checks in with her foster for reassurance. She constantly looks to her person for approval and guidance, making her the sweetest little student who’s ready to learn and eager to make you proud.
Silvie’s still a puppy learning house training, loose-leash manners, and the art of not using her mouth during play, but she redirects easily and just wants to make you proud.
She’s looking for a forever family who’ll celebrate her sweetness, guide her into adulthood, and show her she’s finally home!
