Currently located at our Evansville, IN location

Fievel is a scruffy boy born 9/26/25. His mom was a 12 lb terrier mix and dad was something larger. We would guess Fievel’s adult size to be around 30-35 lbs. His coat type may require grooming. At a minimum, you’d probably want to do feet, face, and sanitary trims. This guy is a spitfire; doesn’t do anything in halves and is all puppy. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
