Meet Chevelle! This Shar Pei mix may only weigh around 30 lbs, but she’s packed with personality. Chevelle absolutely adores people and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. Her small stature makes her the perfect size for just about any home, but don’t be fooled—this girl has a BIG heart and an even bigger personality! Chevelle would love to meet any potential dog siblings before going home, so a meet and greet is recommended. It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
