My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Meow* I`m in a foster home. To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at lorraine.peters87@gmail.com

Meet this sweet 11-year-old cat with a heart full of love and a purr that never quits. She’s incredibly affectionate and adores cozy morning and evening cuddle sessions with her favorite people. This lovely senior kitty was adopted from us years ago but sadly her owner could no longer care for her. She’s hoping for a calm, loving home where she can share her gentle affection and become someone’s loyal companion. Can you please help this golden girl and give her the soft beds and yummy meals she so wants. Learn more about her soon - she`s waiting so patiently.

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
