Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.
Meet Iris! Iris is approximately 1 year old, 219 lbs currently and she is a Mutt! She was surrendered after the person who found her couldn`t care for her. She was in rough shape when we got her - very underweight. With TLC, she has been nursed back to health and is now ready for her forever home. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house training, crate training and leash walking. She could go to a home with teenagers and other dogs her size or smaller.
No cats or apartments, please!
Her foster says, `This fun, happy, scruffy little girl is looking for an active family who loves to go on adventures to parks for walks and car rides to get pup cups! She is a curious little busybody who is just about always in motion! Lol She loves toys especially plushies and will toss them up in the air and catch them. She is fast, agile and athletic! She’s been practicing her leash skills with daily walks and has declared war on all of the squirrels in the neighborhood! She definitely has a voice and she’s not afraid to use it! This girl brings the happy to the party but when the party is over she will seek out your lap for snuggles and love. She’s the best of both worlds..fun and sweet!!!`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 2nd. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
