Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.
Meet Alexi! Alexi is approximately 4 years old, 28 lbs currently and she is likely has some Aussie in her mix! She was surrendered after she started herding a new baby in the family. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with other dogs, cats, and teenagers.
Her foster says, `Meet Alexi! This girl is just as smart as she is beautiful! At almost 5 years old she has mastered car rides..trips to the park and leash walking! She lived with a cat in her previous home and has done well with our cat! She is a playful and happy girl who will be your shadow staying close to your every move! She is a certified pro at snuggling and if you are sitting down she will take that as an invitation to crawl in your lap for a snooze! She has been well mannered while staying with us and has made friends with everyone she has met! She may have some Australian Shepherd in her mix and would love an active family to go on adventures and walks with! No small kids as the herding parts of her DNA kick in and I haven’t yet met a toddler who likes to be herded! lol Being with her people is her love language and she can’t wait to find her forever family!`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 2nd. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
