She’s still learning the ropes, but her gentle personality shines through every day. Here’s what we know so far:
✅ Loves Treats: Greenies at bedtime are her favorite!
✅ Leash Walking: Once the leash is on, she’s a great walker. She’s a little nervous when we put it on, so patience is key.
✅ Potty Training: Still working on going outside—she hasn’t mastered it yet.
✅ Personality: Very sweet and curious! She watches our dog and is starting to come over for pets. She’s allowed us to pet her too, which is huge progress.
✅ Bath Time: Did great during her bath!
✅ Crate Trained: Doesn’t love going in, but once inside, she settles nicely.
✅ Prefers Men: Seems more comfortable around males or less fearful of them.
She’s still figuring things out, but with time and love, she’ll blossom into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who just needs a little extra patience, she might be the one for you!
New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. We will notify you if your application has been approved to move to the next step of meeting the puppy/dog.
Sign Adoption Contract
If your meet and greet goes well and you wish to finalize the adoption you will be required to sign an adoption contract and pay the fee.
Pay Fee
Payment of adoption fees are to be made by cash or check.
