Meet the Pet
***Asher is scheduled to attend our adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the Dec 20-21 weekend. At any time, an application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com without any need to register or login. Asher and his two siblings, Addie and Arby, came to our rescue as stray pups at the very young age of 4 weeks old. They had been born under a building in the same mobile home subdivision where, due to owner irresponsibility, a number of other unwanted litters have also come. We're not sure how many puppies were originally in this litter as some were carted off by children whose parents allowed them to take the pups away from the mom. Efforts to put an end to the excessive breeding of dogs within this trailer park are being attempted but met with reluctance by the residents/owners and without any assistance from law enforcement.
Full of spunk and energy, Asher just can't see to get enough love or attention from people. He's very playful and full of personality, making him a great addition into a home seeking to add a new pup into their family.
Prior to his adoption, Asher will have received all three of his first year "puppy" vaccines as well as her scheduled de-wormings and other such vet care. He'll need to receive his rabies vaccination after 12 weeks of age. Asher's adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. And, of course, Addie will require all of his basic training.

An appointment to meet the dog(s) is set. A home visit is required. If all goes well at the meeting then the adoption will be finalized.
