My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a loyal and incredibly snuggly boy to add to your family? Chase is just that!

He is a whopping 30 pounds making him the perfect medium sized companion. He is an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) and Australian Shepherd Mix. His mother is a beautiful Merle lady! Chase is about a year old and such a smart boy. He does wonderful in the kennel, no potty accidents in the house and is working on his leash manners. He is very respectful in the home and will pick a quiet place to lay down or will follow you around!

Chase enjoys the companionship of other dogs but it’s not required! He would love a home with a yard to run around, so no apartments please! He loves to be outside and enjoys adventures. He is a true outdoorsman! Whether it’s checking the horses, filling deer feeders, going on a hike or sunbathing, Chase thrives outside.

He enjoys playing with children and loves a good scratch from adults. He loves to be snuggled on the most! Any form of love is his favorite! When you talk in a high pitch excited voice his whole body begins to wiggle towards you! He can’t help himself! He just loves people so much. He has so much heart to give.

Chase has spent most of his life outside so he is new to indoors environments. He will need someone patient and willing to continue to work on his inside confidence. He is a very smart boy so someone dedicated will make him thrive! He aims to please people so we know he will do great!❤️

Chase is very food motivated. Bring out the cheese and watch him literally smile! He loves treats, food, snacks, you name it. A pup cup here and there also won’t hurt! Because of his love for food, training him is going to be so fun and rewarding.

If Chase seems like a good fit for you or your family, apply today for his handsome Beau!

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and
overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non-profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
