My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cajun, a vocal and protective boy with an athletic build, who is searching for his forever family! He is a loyal companion, always ready to lend a helping paw and keep you safe. With his energetic spirit, Cajun will be your adventure buddy, joining you on runs or hikes and exploring new trails together. He has a big personality and isn't afraid to speak his mind, always expressing his thoughts with a hearty bark. Could you be the one to offer him a second chance?

More about this shelter

NCHS is a nonprofit organization aimed towards caring for and rehoming the lost, abandoned, & surrendered animals of our communities!

Prior to the Humane Society's inception, all animals brought into the pound were euthanized if they were not claimed. Since our re-establishment in July of 2008, we have earned the Best Friends No Kill excellence award. Which is something we are proud of and aim to continue.
