This helps Second Chance Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Tony! Tony is a sweet and quirky 1-year-old, 30-pound supermutt (we think maybe a little Chihuahua, a little Corgi, and a whole lot of adorable!). He’s the perfect mix of High/Medium energy—full of fun, puppy playfulness, but also able to settle in and relax once he’s had his exercise. Tony gets along great with women, older kids, and other dogs, and would thrive in a home that has another friendly pup to show him the ropes. Some of his favorite activities include going for walks, hopping in the car for adventures, and—most importantly—any activity that involves food, which is his absolute greatest motivation. This lovable boy is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows how to sit like a champ. He’s still working on his recall (right now it’s… not great!), and he’d benefit from continued positive training—especially with a patient, calm adopter who understands how to build trust through kindness and treats. Tony can feel nervous around men, bikes, or when someone corrects him too firmly, so he needs someone who will make him feel safe and supported. Tony’s personality is pure joy: he’s funny, affectionate, and does the cutest little tippy-taps when he knows food is coming. His favorite place to be is snuggled right up in your face—often with all ten toes pointed to the sky. He’s not a big barker and would do well in a home where someone is around during the day. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, food-loving sidekick with a heart of gold, Tony might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to find a family who will love him for the gentle, goofy boy he is. Tony can’t wait to meet you! He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
