At just 18 months old and 9 pounds, he is the perfect blend of Toy Fox Terrier and Chihuahua—petite, gentle, and endlessly endearing. When you first meet him, you’ll notice something special: he moves through a room like he’s floating, never demanding attention, simply hoping someone kind will notice him. He’s the kind of dog who chooses his people thoughtfully. A slow, gentle approach is all he needs to show you that he is ready to trust, ready to love, and ready to curl up on your lap for as long as you’ll let him. He’s not a high-energy dog and isn’t one for rowdy play, but he enjoys the quiet company of other dogs and gravitates toward calm humans who let him come to them in his own soft way.

Batman would thrive in a peaceful home—perhaps with an empty nester or a couple whose children are older—where he can blossom without loud chaos or tiny hands that move too quickly. He is learning his house-training and was recently neutered, which will help him continue to grow into the wonderful, easy companion he’s meant to be. We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home?
