I’m Simon! I’m the baby of my litter, but don’t you dare call me the runt. You would never know I am the smallest, because I have such a big personality! The second my foster mom comes in the room, I want her to hold me. I love to snuggle up in her neck and sniff her nose with my motor going. But then I’m off again to run and play with my siblings! I’m a goofy and fearless character who will keep you laughing. I haven’t been around dogs yet, but I seem to like everyone, so I’m game to have a cat and/or dog family member. But it would be super great if you bring one of my siblings home too (psst - Theodore is my favorite!).
Submit your application to meet me at my foster home in South Aurora/Centennial. I have been fixed, microchipped, and had all my vaccines. NOTE: only homes with a resident cat or dog will be considered, unless you adopt two kittens.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
