Potato is a cheerful and intelligent 11 week old, 18 lb female mixed breed who is ready to steal your heart! This little lady is the definition of "eager to please" and has already mastered "sit" in record time, proving she’s a quick learner ready for her next command. She comes when called and is highly motivated by treats and praise!
A Social Butterfly:
Potato has excellent manners with other dogs. In her foster home, she adores playing with the resident 75 lb female dog, playfully letting the older dog be the leader. There are absolutely no aggression or guarding concerns—she’s just a happy, social girl who loves having canine company!
She is also great with people of all ages. While she hasn't been around toddlers, she was gentle and sweet when meeting visitors, including a 10 and 12-year-old.
Life Skills:
House Training: She is actively working on house manners and learning fast. She will gently nibble but is happy to trade your fingers for a toy (or another dog to play with).
Crate Training: She is crate trained, sleeps through the night (after a - few minutes initial cry), and is getting used to her space.
Leash Manners: She’s excited about life in general but is already pretty easy to walk on the leash (will need to keep working on those manners as she gets stronger).
Favorite Things: Loves chew toys, soft toys, playing with other dogs, getting pets, and snuggles. she also has perfected the adorable puppy pounce.
If you're looking for a friendly, curious, and adaptable puppy to join your family, Potato is your girl!
