Elfie is a soulful, easygoing girl with a wonderfully obedient nature. She does great with other dog and is eager to please her people. She's one of those dogs who looks at you like she understands every word you're saying. She enjoys a good game of fetch and she happily will take a stroll on leash, and also has a calm, settled side that makes her a joy to be around. She's the kind of dog who's happy to play when it's time-and just as happy to relax by your side.

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
