Meet Gobi!
This sweet and silly black-and-white boy is the full package—playful, adventurous, and overflowing with love. His best friend Chimpy is never far away. Gobi is always the first to explore a new spot or chase after a toy, and he brings endless smiles with his goofy kitten antics.

But when he’s done being the brave little explorer, he turns into a total snugglebug. Gobi purrs loud enough to power a small engine and melts right into your arms for cuddles. He adores being close to his humans and will happily curl up on your chest or shoulder for a warm nap.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
