Gorgeous hunk incoming! Meet Frito

This is Frito, a strikingly handsome, almost 5-year-old long-haired orange and white guy with a big, fluffy coat and an irresistibly plush tail. He has the look of a teddy bear—thick fur, expressive eyes, and big white paws that make him impossible to ignore. He carries himself with a calm, slightly serious expression that only adds to his charm.

Frito came to us with severe dental disease and a painful mouth infection. The kindest and only way to make him comfortable again was to remove all of his teeth. Since then, he has been feeling so much better and is ready to find his forever home.

Because of his thick, long coat, Frito will need daily brushing to keep him comfortable and mat-free. He enjoys soft food and gets very excited at mealtime—he’ll even stand up and beg for it. He will nibble a little dry kibble as well.

Frito can be shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He does well with other cats and dogs and would thrive in a home with respectful children who understand giving him space when he needs it. Once he’s settled, he’s a gentle, sweet companion who will happily be part of your family. His buddy, Shortbread is also available for adoption if you are interested in giving them a home together.
