My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a peppy little brown and white pup with endearing ears that curl over his adorable little face, we have the mutt for you: Gershwin! This cute little guy will compose you symphonies in exchange for treats; he may seem shy (a genius like Gershwin takes time to write his music), he can be drawn out of his music mode with a yummy snack. Gershwin walks with a bouncy little rhythm that will have you doubting his senior status, his little paws skim lightly over the ground as he sort of floats along with the power of positivity. This sweet old boy is composing a sonata called “The Search for a Forever Home” that he’d love to share with you.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Gershwin is such a sweetie and a cuddle bug. He is a very active boy. He walks well on leash. Is now eating his food very well, in fact, he cleans his plate and really likes kibble. He is a strong, fast walker. He is doing well with potty training He has no problem with the car. He learned steps and is now very proficient on going up and down them.

He loves other dogs and wants to be shoulder to shoulder walking with my dog and play with all the dogs he sees. He is really just wanting to play and interact with the other dogs. He has gotten my grumpy old man dog to play a little even. He is fine home alone. He does not bark but just does this whimper little whine. He has been sleeping with us in the bed, but I think he would be fine in a crate or a bed on the floor. He is pretty independent and not a total velcro dog.
