Mollie is a fun, 5 year old Yorkie/Chinese Crested mix! We all love Mollie. She came to our rescue after her elderly parent passed away and she was very shy. She still gets nervous sometimes and is very submissive with people, but it doesn't stop her from greeting strangers! She gets so excited to meet people, she will jump up and down, whining with anticipation! She wants so much to love and will smother you with kisses, but, if you raise your voice at her or move too quickly, she will run and hide! Because of this, we think a home with small children would be too much for her. Most of the time, Mollie just hangs out on the couch with you, but she has occasional bursts of energy where she enjoys playing with one of our dogs or a toy. She gets along with all of our animals including our cats. Mollie does best with routine and a secure environment. She is a homebody and prefers to stay indoors. She does not like car rides and even walks can be overwhelming. At home, she can be herself and relax! Despite her anxiety, Mollie has never shown an ounce of aggression. She tries her best to be a good girl. However, she is a big foodie and will eat anything you leave down! She will tell you she is hungry all the time, but you can't listen to her. She arrived at our rescue overweight and will over indulge if given the chance. Mollie is also crate trained and housebroken. She will go to the door when she needs to go outside, but, if you don't see her, she will have an accident in the house. She sometimes pretends to be a guard dog and will bark when she hears someone outside, but her previous owners had her debarked so she isn't very loud. Some barks are completely silent. Mollie weighs about lbs and is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped She is in good health, but she has allergies that we manage with consistent diet and regular baths. Due to these allergies and the Chinese Crested in her, she has thin hair on her body. Her face grows quickly though and she does require trims! Mollie is a very special pup who deserves all the love that she craves to give. She is so eager to find a place she can feel secure and blossom. If you think that could be you, please submit an adoption application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org
