My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sprinkles is a total sweetheart who loves attention and human companionship. She’s affectionate, thrives on cuddles, and loves to play with her soft plush toys. Sprinkles walks well on leash and does great with other dogs and kids. No cats, please! Her loving nature and bright personality make her an easy addition to almost any home. Sprinkles, Kahuna, and their son Rooster came to us from the same home and share a special bond. Although they would love to stay together, they are also expected to do well if adopted separately.

More about this shelter

The Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) was formed in 1992 with the goal of rescuing 50 stray and unwanted animals in the Salem, NH area. During that year, SARL rescued a total of 157 animals, affirming the need for an alternative to traditional municipal animal control. SARL's history is one of community interaction with police, town government and the people of the community. Today, the Salem Animal Rescue League rescues and adopts close to 800 dogs and cats per year.
