My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Yorkie
Female, 10 years old (estimated), 4 pounds

Mittens may be just 4lbs but gosh, is this girl tough! This amazingly resilient tiny lady was found with multiple breaks in her spine, foreign material in her gut, and a multitude of other medical findings. Despite all of this, Mittens perseveres. You would never know this girl has had so much going on. She just continues pressing forward in life.

Little Mittens loves dogs! Loves them! She gets very excited to make new friends -- big dogs, small dogs, you name it! She even likes kitties and bunnies as well. She's as easy going as they get. This adorable little pup is just looking for a cozy bed to call her own.

Mittens joins us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray in urgent need of medical care. She's well on the road to recovery, but she will need an adoptive home that is ready to continue her medical in her next home.
