Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maddy was recently surrendered to our care because she does not get along with other cats. This decision was made with her best interests in mind so she can live in an environment where she feels safe and comfortable. At this time, Maddy is very scared and overwhelmed, which is understandable given the changes she has experienced. She will need a calm, adult-only home where she can be the only cat and have the space and quiet she needs to relax. With patience, consistency, and a peaceful environment, Maddy will be able to settle in and enjoy her golden years surrounded by comfort and care. Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime.

More about this shelter
Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.
As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.
Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
