Cane is a 4-5 year old, 60 lb boy with a gentle soul and a survivor’s spirit. After roaming on his own for at least 10 days in harsh winter conditions, Cane was finally brought to safety. Despite his rough past, he has shown nothing but kindness and trust - he loves all people he meets!
He is dog and cat friendly! - Does best meeting other dogs with slow, proper introductions. Cane has recently come into our care, so we are still getting to know him and learning more about his personality each day.
Cane’s neuter is scheduled, he is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and his battle wounds from life on the streets are being treated. We think he may be a little hard of hearing but that doesn't slow him down. Through it all, he remains incredibly friendly and grateful for every bit of love he receives.
Cane has clearly known hardship but what he deserves now is comfort and a place to call home.
