Meet Captain!<br/>At 58 pounds and nearly a year old, Captain is a lovable mix of goofy puppy energy and sweet affection. This handsome boy is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and knows his basic cues like sit and stay. Hes friendly, polite, and playful-especially when a game of tug is involved!<br/><br/>Captain has done well meeting kids but would do best in a home with older children, as he can be a bit nervous in new situations. He gets excited when he sees other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion, though he hasnt been officially dog-tested yet.<br/><br/>With medium energy, Captain enjoys both playtime and relaxing by your side. Hes not the biggest fan of the crate just yet, so hell thrive with someone who can help him feel safe and comfortable with crate training. As a growing pup, hell also benefit from continued basic training to help him be his very best self.<br/><br/>Sweet, goofy, and full of potential-Captain is ready to be your loyal first mate!

LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
