My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jordy, a lovable 2-year-old Chihuahua mix from Texas who is adjusting like a champ to Midwest life—even the cold! He is crate-trained and house-trained, and while he may be a little slow to warm up at first, once he trusts you, he forms a deep, loyal bond with his person. Lately, Jordy has been showing off his funny side too—zoomies and all—proving he has a playful streak to match his sweet nature. He runs on love and cuddles, is cat-friendly, and will thrive in a home where his personality can continue to shine.

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
