My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheddar!
This lovable little guy is fantastic with children, he happily plays with his foster’s 4-year-old and 1-year-old granddaughters and handles their excitement like a champ. Cheddar is also curious and confident around the resident dogs, showing no fear, so he’d likely do well with friendly pups after a proper introduction.

Cheddar gets along wonderfully with the other cats in the foster room. He loves zooming around with his siblings and then curling up with them for a cozy nap. The whole group gets thrilled when someone walks in, but Cheddar is often the first to scramble into your lap the moment you sit down. He’s a total cuddlebug who adores attention.

Full of playfulness and curiosity, Cheddar enjoys batting toys, chasing anything that moves, climbing cat trees, and exploring scratching posts. He’s also got an adorable habit of carrying a tiny puffy ball around in his mouth, his own little treasure!

Cheddar is the perfect mix of sweetness and spunk. He and his siblings are always eager to “help” with foster room chores and bring plenty of laughs along the way.

Cheddar would make a wonderful addition to almost any home. This adorable kitten is sure to bring endless joy to his future family.

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
