This sweet boy is one of nine babies born to mama Avila, a brave girl who was abandoned just days before giving birth. Raised alongside his devoted mama, he’s getting a wonderful start in life—surrounded by nurturing hands, gentle handling, and the stability every growing pup deserves.

He is a super happy-go-lucky, people-oriented puppy who adores everyone he meets and does wonderfully with humans and other animals alike. He’s quickly learning the joys of doggie life: sleeping through the night in his crate, romping happily with his foster dog siblings, and soaking up all the love he can get. Incredibly cuddly, he’s the perfect balance of playful energy and cozy sofa snuggles.

He's very vibrant and adorable with his light brown and white markings. While his exact breed mix is unknown, he's a small pup expected to be under 40lbs full grown.

1.
Submit Application

You can find our application at www.mostlymuttz.org.

2.
Home Check

All persons living in the household are required to be present.

3.
Approve Application

You will receive an approval email from our organization within several days of having your home visit completed.

4.
Meet the Pet

You will be able to adopt at this meeting if it is a match.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees vary based on dog. We accept cash, PayPal or Venmo. The contract will also be signed at this time.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

The Initial review of your application will occur within 72 hours.

Please contact your vet authorizing them to release information to us.
Also, let your references know we’ll be calling.
****Failure to take these steps may delay the process

Once your references have been contacted, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit.
After your home visit you will receive an email informing you of your approval.

Schedule a meet/adoption. You will be able to finalize your adoption of the dog at this meeting.

Please read your contract thoroughly before the meeting.

You will be required to send an update at 2 weeks, 6 months, and annually. The email addresses for those updates will be at the bottom of the contract.

If it has been determined that training is a requirement for the dog you’re adopting this will be noted on the contract. You will be required to submit verification of training completion.

Payment by cash is due at the time of adoption. If you choose to use PayPal, payment should be made prior to the meeting/adoption. You will need to forward the electronic email you receive from PayPal, to mostlymuttz@gmail.com to confirm your payment before the meeting/adoption.

Adoption Fees:

Altered puppies (8 weeks - 1 year old): $525

Unaltered puppies (8 weeks - 1 year old): $450 (A $100 sterilization deposit is required in addition to fee. This is refunded upon verification of altering.)

Adults (1yo-7yo): $375

Seniors (7+ years old): $250

Adult dogs who have been with us for over 6 months: $188

At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
