Meet Glow Up Garrick — the handsome orange-and-white sweetheart who’s ready for his second chance at love!
Garrick is a 7-year-old gentleman who’s come such a long way. After being neglected and completing the treatment plan needed to get him back to optimal health, this resilient boy is now thriving in his foster home — soaking up love, enjoying playtime, and showing just how special he truly is. Despite his rough past, Garrick’s heart is wide open. He absolutely adores people and loves curling up in his foster parents’ laps, giving them hugs or following them from room to room to be part of everything they do.
Garrick would thrive in a home on his own. He also gets along well with other cats who are kind to him, but what he loves most is spending time with his humans. Garrick doesn’t have any teeth (which doesn’t bother him one bit!) and he’s allergic to chicken, but a simple special diet keeps him happy and healthy. He is extremely food motivated and eats both wet and dry, and treats!
Somehow, this amazing boy keeps getting overlooked — but he’s an absolute gem just waiting for someone to notice him. His foster parents would've loved to foster fail but their household female is not a fan of having another bro-bro. Garrick’s dream is simple: a forever home where he’ll be loved, cherished, and never forgotten again. Could that be with you?

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.
Approve Application
The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
