My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ Meet Brit

Female • Maltese • Born 5/25/2025 • 15 pounds • Healthy • Vaccinated • Spayed

Brit is a soft, sweet little cloud of love with the gentlest soul. At a year and a half old, she’s the perfect mix of playful youth and calm companionship. Brit adores being close to her people and brings a sense of comfort and happiness wherever she goes.

Personality

Brit is affectionate, gentle, and people-focused. She loves cuddles, quiet moments, and simply being near those she trusts. She has a tender heart and thrives in a calm, loving environment where she can feel safe and cherished. Brit bonds deeply and will happily follow you from room to room just to stay connected.

Breed Info (Maltese)

Maltese are known for being:

  • Loving, loyal, and devoted companions

  • Gentle and people-oriented

  • Intelligent and eager to please

  • Excellent lap dogs with playful moments

Brit embodies everything that makes this breed so beloved.

Owner Responsibilities

Brit’s future family should be prepared to:

  • Provide daily companionship and affection

  • Maintain regular grooming and coat care

  • Continue gentle training and routines

  • Keep up with routine veterinary visits

Even though Brit is healthy, adopters should take her to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption.

Things to Consider Before Adopting

  • Maltese thrive on human companionship

  • Consistent routines help build confidence

  • Confirm landlord or HOA approval

  • Dogs are a lifetime commitment, not a temporary one

  • Patience and love are essential during transitions

The 3-3-3 Rule

The first 3 days allow Brit to decompress, the first 3 weeks help her learn your routine, and the first 3 months are when she fully settles in and knows she’s home.

✨ Why Brit Will Be a Great Addition

Brit is the kind of dog who fills a home with quiet love and warmth. She’s gentle, devoted, and ready to give her whole heart to someone who will love her just as deeply. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will bring comfort and joy into your life, Brit is waiting for you.

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
