My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Dogs love unconditionally and are the truest of friends," This reminds us of Dobie, who is ready to be your new best friend! He is two years old.

Why we love him: Dobie is such a delightful dog and has such presence!

He is a very enthusiastic companion on daily walks and is glad to help you get your daily exercise! Dobie would be a fine hiking and running buddy, too.

He has the best time running and playing and frolicking in the fenced yard. We love seeing Dobie having so much fun.

Dobie has a free spirited, happy-go-lucky personality that makes him a joy to be around! He is so friendly and affectionate and always ready for a pet and a cuddle.

Dobie is very smart and should master any commands you wish to teach him.

He is going to be such a great family dog!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
