My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Dogs are minor angels. They love unconditionally, forgive immediately, are the truest of friends, and are willing to do anything that makes us happy." This reminds us of Tuff! He is eight years old.

Tuff is such a sweet dog, and is a truly joyful presence! We enjoy his company so much! He is a sought after walking companion and adores being close by your side.

Tuff has so much fun in the fenced yard, where he loves to run and play.

He has enjoyed meeting his fellow shelter companions in play groups. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Tuff is always ready for a pet and a cuddle and has such a loving heart.

He wants to please and should learn any commands you want to teach him.

Tuff is going to be such a fun, loyal and devoted family dog.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
