Matilda is such a snuggle bunny. She will turn her head into you which becomes a full body flop for belly rubs. She loves toys of all kinds and is good at fetch, less so at the giving up in order to have the ball or toy thrown again. We rotate through multiple. She's also happy to self entertain with a stuffy or squeaky toy. She is totally housebroken and has zero accidents. She is great in her crate but also can be left alone, she's never chewed anything that wasn't a toy.
When she came in the shelter, she had some stranger danger. So far, she has been great with everyone she has met in the house but she has barked when people approached us on the street. We are working on her pulling at the leash and reacting toward other dogs/cats/squirrels/bunnies. She is making a little progress. Her favorite high value treat is Cheeto type puff from the supermercado.
Matilda is excited about everything. Walk, pets, food, toy, it's all the best thing ever. There is no being down around this girl because she loves everything. She can be a mouthy when she gets really excited and has epic zoomies so probably not a great fit for small children. A really busy, high traffic neighborhood with lots of other people and dogs walking would be challenging while she works on staying calm during walks.
