Meet sweet Alfie! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 12/6, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Alfie and describe him as friendly, easygoing, and well-behaved. He has been walking very nicely on leash! If you're looking for a mature dog past their crazy puppy years, please come meet Alfie! He'd love to find a loving home in time for the holidays!
Alfie is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 51 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Alfie is waiting patiently in kennel 808; his ID # is 15512.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
