MEET PONGO! - I am in foster, please contact the shelter to meet me!
Pongo is a loveable pup who is house trained and great with humans and dogs. He is doing great with crate training and even is able to sleep through the night in his crate! He needs some work with manners and puppy antics, and loves to have plenty of playtime and walks. You`ll get rewarded with so much love and unlimited scratches of his velvety-soft ears. We recommend a larger kid or adult only household as he still has puppy energy. In foster, he is doing wonderfully with the resident dogs and cats of the house, he even likes little dogs too!
Pongo is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
