My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Viewable in Shelter: No, in staff-only area.

***

Meet Flitter, a super chatty (and gorgeous!) sweetheart with plenty of love to go around!

Flitter was found on the streets where she gave birth to a single, tiny kitten. Both were in rough shape, but our friends at the Port Alberni branch had her and baby patched up in no time! With her kitten weaned and adopted, Flitter is enjoying a well-deserved break, travelling all the way to Victoria where she patiently awaits her forever family!

Flitter's former fosters noted she could be a bit defensive (though she was actively nursing at the time), but was overall an incredibly affectionate and highly curious cat. She showed interest in other cats during her time at the Alberni branch, so it may be possible for her to go to a home with other felines. Dogs, on the other hand, may not be the best roommates for her (at least the yappy, excitable kind). We suggest Flitter's forever home be one with older children, as she has little patience for grabby hands.

We are looking for indoor-only homes. Consider investing in a catio or "cat-proofing" your balcony/deck for supervised, outdoor enrichment.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Flitter's person? Apply today!

TIP: To aid our team in making the best match possible, applicants are encouraged to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.
