My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This charming girl is potty trained, kennel trained, great on leash (but give her a few minutes to get warmed up), rides perfectly in the car and has a soft spot for all things cozy and kind. She absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up belly rubs and head scratches any time of day.

She is currently the shop foster dog at a local business, and she is THRIVING. She is so gentle with her small dog foster siblings, respectful of her elderly foster sister, and just likes to relax on the couch with customers. She loves everyone and is such an easy pup to have around.

Amethyst also has a playful side-She loves water and will never say no to a splash or a dip. This girl just wants to fit in and be loved wherever she is. Send a message to @vivalaplantshop to meet her!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
