From the foster: Bebe is a friendly, sweet, trained pup who prances when she walks. At first glance, or even for a few days, you won't notice this about her, but for a sad reason. Her previous owner passed away and wasn't found right away. Bebe was found underneath his bed, absolutely terrified. She came to me huddled in the back of her kennel and stayed that way for 2 days. I could coax her out with food easily, but she would retreat right back. Day 3 is a magical transition day for foster pups, and sure enough, she came out and made friends. She sat with me on the couch and gently asked for more pets. One week later, and while still shy, she enjoys toys, pup cups and is prancing in the back yard and loves my attention. She is potty trained and uses either potty pads in her playpen or goes outside. There have been zero accidents. No matter how afraid she is, there is zero nipping or biting.
On Saturday, you won't see all of the beautiful qualities I am now experiencing, but just wait because on day 3, you'll have a new pup! Her perfect person will need patience while she heals, and time to give her all the love she deserves. This 3 year old beauty has lots of love to give you!
Please come and meet her on Saturday. She would love to be fed as many treats as you can feed her and you'll see a glimpse of the treasure inside of her!

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
