If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Koda. He's a complete sweetheart who loves all people and dogs, and has been good around kids at parties/get togethers, though he's never lived with one long term. He's never been around cats but my assumption is that he would annoy them (he's very excitable). No special needs, though he has a mild chicken allergy (never been an issue, we just give him non chicken food).
He's 55Ib and neutered, up to date on his vaccines and such — he's 9 years old now, but looks and acts a lot younger. He gets the zoomies often, loves to play and run, but also loves to sleep all the time. He's very adaptable and is happy to nap on the couch and go out 2-3 times a day for walks or just hang out in a yard, go on hikes, whatever you want to do with him he's just excited to be with you :)
He's very food motivated and therefore fairly easy to train, extremely well house trained, and crate trained. He doesn't really bark; I've only heard his bark a few times in eight years.
