Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jaxxon! He is an adorable, affiliative pittie mix who came to WARL through no fault of his own when his family sadly lost their housing. He was clearly well loved, and they shared many wonderful things about the dog they had to say goodbye to.
Jaxxon is a friendly, people-oriented boy who enjoys spending time with older teens and adults and appreciates calm, respectful interactions. He can be fearful around young children and has tried to run away from them, so we are looking for a home with older kids only where he can feel safe and understood.
This smartie already knows sit, wait, and give paw, and he enjoys engaging with people who want to keep building on his training. Jaxxon is eager to form a close bond and would love a home that offers patience, consistency, and lots of affection as he settles into his next chapter. He rides on the bus like a champ, and is used to city life. He s cautious of other dogs but may be able to find the right match. Jaxxon would need everyone in the household as well as other dogs to come meet him prior to adoption.
If you are interested in adopting Jaxxon, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm for walk in hours. If you are unable to come during these times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see if there are other times available to meet him.
