My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bottles!
This beautiful calico/tabby girl is a perfect blend of sweet and playful. Bottles loves batting at toys, exploring cozy spots, and joining in on gentle kitten games. Her soft markings and bright eyes make her as lovely to look at as she is to spend time with.

She can be a little shy with new people or new situations, but with patience and kindness, she opens up and shows her warm, affectionate side. Once she trusts you, she’s a total sweetheart who enjoys quiet company and soft pets.

If you’re looking for a tender, playful companion with a gentle spirit, Bottles would love to be your girl.

Kittens thrive in pairs. Adopt one kitten, and get 50% off the second adoption fee!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
