Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Summer may not hear the world around her, but she feels every bit of love and kindness sent her way.
Summer was rescued as a lost dog, and as we got to know her, it became clear she was a little different. Summer is deaf. She doesn’t respond to our voices, her surroundings, or even squeaky toys. She experiences the world on mute.
Sadly, many adopters pass by dogs like Summer, thinking they’re too much work or that they wouldn’t know how to care for a deaf dog. We’ve heard it al, but what it really means is that sweet Summer continues to wait in her kennel, hoping someone will take a chance on a dog who just experiences the world a little differently.
