My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Totino‘s pizza roll, otherwise known as pizza or Mr. pizza or Mr. T, is the most lovable cat you will ever find in your entire life. He was originally found as a stray, though his finder wasn't able to keep him, so he debuted soon afterward at PAWS, and has been stealing hearts and scritches ever since. Being FeLV+ doesn’t stop this Totino's Pizza Roll from living his best life! You can always find him cuddled up with his favorite blanket or person. He loves exploring and adventuring anywhere he can. His favorite places include his foster mom's bed, (fluffy blankets are key), any soft chair in a central location, and under the dining room table. His hobbies include drinking from the tap, alerting his humans at 5am and pm that it's time for food (he's a very timely boy), running at full speed down the hallway, and bunny-kicking his arch nemesis- a stuffed snowman. His favorite toys include anything stringy or crinkly, and he specifically really loves an admittedly rundown stuffed beaver. Their relationship is fascinating.. Pizza can often be found at all the windows, eyes locked in on whatever squirrell, bird, truck, or human is out there. He sometimes gets a little too curious about street drama, so a home with multiple doors to prevent him from poking his head outside is preferable- because FeLV and Outside don't mix well, you know? Totino also loves to be involved in all his humans' activities and he’s always curious (and maybe a little offended) when they go into rooms without him. He must know what’s going on and what each room looks like in the house, even if he’s not allowed in them. Pizza loves to cuddle on couches and laps and will always accept scritches and pets. He loves belly rubs and will let you know he wants you to keep scratching him by rubbing the side of his head against your hand. He loves all people and will follow you around. He is looking for a low-stress home, preferably with people home most of the day. Prepare to be loved and appreciated (by being meowed at, head-bonked, and cuddled) so so much by this floof gremlin. Please email adoptions@phillypaws.org to learn more about this kitty!

------------------------------------

This cat has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which is specific to the felines and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but it weakens the immune system, causing a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! FeLV can spread to other cats, so they should live in a cat-free home or with other FeLV+ cats. Our staff will be happy to tell you more about FeLV. You can learn more about FeLV here: www.phillypaws.org/felv

FeLV+ adopters are also eligible for an Amazon gift card after adoption and this cat's adoption fee is waived.
