Onyx (A140594) is a 1-year-old mix who weighed over 60 lbs at intake!
12/13/25 This handsome goofball is Onyx! Onyx was described as being outgoing, friendly and affectionate. He is an extremely happy dog! He was said to get along with humans of all ages, as well as other dogs. Onyx does not have experience with cats, so please make sure any and all introductions are done slowly in a controlled manner. Onyx is said to be kennel trained, but he is still working on mastering potty training. His neuter may help with this. Onyx is a young dog with a lot of energy and needs some help with his manners. He has been known to chew and dig, and he tends to jump on people and counters. He was said to ride well in the car and knows some basic commands, such as sit, stay and follow. Enrolling him in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer would be a great way to set him up for success! If you are looking for a happy and energetic pup, Onyx may the guy for you!
