MEET ROSY - A PETITE PITTIE WITH A HEART OF GOLD!

Hi there, I’m Rosy, your future cuddle buddy!
I’m a petite gal, a 35-pound pittie mix with a BIG smile, an even bigger heart, and a talent for snuggling that should honestly earn me an award. My foster family calls me their “little cuddle-bug,” and I try to live up to that title every day.

I’ve got lots of great skills already: I sleep through the night in my crate like a champ.  I’m about 90% potty-trained (my foster parents say I am just about there), and I walk great on a leash. I’m only about a year old, but I’ve been working super hard on my basic manners, and my foster parents say I’m doing amazing.  I also have excellent taste in toys — especially ropes, plush stuffies, and chew-toys…anything that lets me show off my tug-of-war skills!  I just love rides in the car, too.  I am always up for a road trip!

When we first meet I'll be a bit shy and cautious, but give me a slow, gentle hello and we'll be well on our way to becoming best friends. I get along with other dogs when we’re introduced properly, and I’m getting braver every day.  Slow and easy is the best way to introduce me to new things, as I may find them a bit scary at first.  Treats help a lot; I’ll do almost anything for a yummy snack!

I'd do best in a home with no cats...my foster parents have noticed that I love to chase squirrels on my walks, so I probably would be a little picky with any friends of the feline persuasion.  A home with older kids would also be best...ones that would understand the need to go slow and be patient with me.  A basic manners class probably wouldn't hurt either, if you're game for it!  I just love to learn new things.

I'm a medium energy gal and I love my walks and I’ll be first in line for a zoomie party, but I also don't mind just curling up with my human for a cozy afternoon of movies, naps, or both. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, fun girl who wants nothing more than to love and be loved, I might be the one for you.

Are you looking for a little love bug to share your home and your heart? Maybe we can meet — I’m hoping you’ll be the forever family I’ve been dreaming of.
