Meet Latke: a 3 year old pup that's the perfect little bundle of light! Latke just arrived from Kentucky over the weekend and has done an amazing job at acclimating to foster life. He's extremely affectionate, always tippy tapping right into your lap and nudging your hand to give him pets (by his ears and his tail are his favorite!). He'll even give you little licks if you stop. If that doesn't get you to keep petting him then his big puppy eyes and sweet little sniffs will. Latke is silly and playful, too. He loves to chase plushy toys and balls down the hallway and then hide them behind pillows and under blankets for later. He gets along great with our resident dog; they wrestle and play even though they have a big size difference (he's only 20lb to our resident dog's 65). Latke is the most polite little gentleman on leash. He does a perfect heel, walking right at your side. He never tugs or pulls, and doesn't bark at other dogs or stimuli. He does excited little jumps and spins when it's time to go outside, and he listens well to directions. Latke is also great in his crate. He sleeps soundly throughout the night, and goes in willingly for solo decompression time. He follows us around he apartment like a little shadow. Overall, Latke is always happy and wagging his tail. He has such a sweet and loving demeanor that's the perfect addition to any family.
